What happened

U.S. Customs and Border Protection published its Miami press conference on seizures and end-of-year successes, at which CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott and White House Border Czar Tom Homan discussed end-of-year successes in Miami, Florida, according to the agency’s description of its official upload, embedded above. The video is the CBP’s own full posting of the event — the agency-channel record of the year-end briefing as the Commissioner and the Border Czar presented it. CBP first posted the event as a live stream; this page carries the settled video-on-demand version.

Why it matters

Scott’s CBP owns the border enforcement record this briefing reported: the year-end seizure and enforcement account he and Homan presented in Miami is the administration’s own summary of the CBP year, and it sits alongside the fiscal year 2025 Southwest Border press conference and Scott’s oversight and budget hearings already paged on this site.

Scoreboard watch

This is a candidate item for the weekly scoreboard: the end-of-year CBP seizure and enforcement successes as presented by Commissioner Scott and Border Czar Homan in Miami, to be checked against the published CBP data.
