Methodology
Sourcing — official channels first
- The White House wire — official releases and briefings from the White House communications office.
- The President’s own channels — Truth Social first, where announcements originate, and @POTUS.
- Each official’s own channels — X, Truth Social, and YouTube accounts are only listed on a profile when verified: linked from a .gov page, platform-verified, or cross-linked from another verified official channel. Unverified handles are never published.
- The unedited record — C-SPAN and committee streams for full remarks.
Secondary press is used for attributed criticism and for documented gaps in the official record — always named, never laundered into this site’s own voice.
Scoring
- Scoreboard items are scored Win / Pending / Setback for the official responsible; mixed events are split into separate items.
- Status dots and tallies are computed from published scoreboard entries, never set by hand.
- Promise statuses (Kept / In Progress / Stalled / Broken / Superseded) require dated evidence, and every promise record carries its strongest attributed criticism.
- Judgment-heavy calls are attributed in the entry itself.
Neutrality
This is a chronicle, not advocacy. The administration’s claims are recorded as its claims; criticism is recorded with its source; where accounts conflict (a departure described as a promotion by one side and a firing by the other), both are carried and the conflict is stated.
