What happened
Secretary Brooke L. Rollins hosted a Make America Healthy Again Ice Cream Day in Washington, D.C., with Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s description of its September 22, 2026 upload. The event is one of the two Secretaries’ joint MAHA appearances.
Why it matters
Rollins and Kennedy are the two cabinet officers who jointly own the administration’s food and nutrition agenda — USDA writes the dietary guidelines and runs the nutrition programs Kennedy’s HHS campaigns on — and their joint public events are where that shared agenda is presented as one program.
