What happened
President Donald Trump attended a dignified transfer ceremony on July 22, 2026. The White House upload carries no audio and no remarks; it is the silent ceremonial record of the transfer. In its description of a companion clip of the same honor, the White House named the four fallen service members: 1st Lt. Tyler Feehan, Sgt. Michael Swinton, Sgt. Angel Rampersad, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, who, in the White House’s words, “made the ultimate sacrifice in the Middle East.”
At Joint Base Andrews the same day, before the ceremony, the President told reporters the investigation into how the soldiers were killed in Jordan was still being done, and of the families he said: “All I’m going to say is we love you. We love your child… all you can do is throw out your heart.” That exchange is paged separately in this collection.
Why it matters
Dignified transfers are the gravest recurring duty in the commander-in-chief’s record, and this chronicle keeps them on the Foreign Policy & Defense hub as part of the cost side of the administration’s Middle East operations — recorded here exactly as the White House published them, without commentary added.
