What happened

Energy Secretary Chris Wright delivered remarks in Riyadh, in the Department of Energy’s upload of the April 15, 2025 statement following the announcement of a U.S.–Saudi Arabia energy cooperation memorandum. Wright thanked his hosts — Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman — and said a day and a half of wide-ranging dialogues had covered energy in all its aspects, mining and critical materials, processing and industry, and climate change.
