Brooke Rollins Confirmed as Secretary of Agriculture, 72–28

Senate vote: 72–28

Brooke Rollins was confirmed by the Senate as Secretary of Agriculture on February 13, 2025, by a vote of 72–28 — one of the widest margins of the 2025 confirmation wave. She became the 33rd Secretary of Agriculture.

The mission that started here is the agriculture portfolio: the farm economy, the food supply, and the rural programs run through the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which Secretary Rollins has led since — including the egg-price fight the President later credited her with from the podium at Peterbilt.
