What happened

During a midterm rally on Tuesday, October 14, 2026, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum praised President Trump’s actions in Alaska, according to the Forbes Breaking News description of its clip, which carries his line: ‘No President In History Has Done More For Alaska Than Donald J. Trump.’ The clip is the published record of the remarks.

Why it matters

Alaska is the centerpiece state of Burgum’s Interior tenure — the Ambler Road decision, the Alaska LNG milestone, and the October 2026 Alaska land rules all run through his department — and this rally appearance is his campaign-season statement of that record.
