What happened
CMS published a “Stay Healthy with Dr. Oz” video on July 13, 2026, in which Administrator Mehmet Oz presents a coordination exercise. In CMS’s description, coordination exercises are one of the best things people can do to keep their mind sharp, when the brain and body have to work together the brain gets a real workout, and this exercise can be done right from a chair.
Why it matters
The “Stay Healthy” series is Oz’s preventive-care pitch in his own on-camera style — the television doctor’s format carried into the administrator’s office — and CMS presents these short installments as part of how the agency under Oz sells prevention and everyday movement to the Medicare public.
