What happened

National Cyber Director Sean Cairncross joined Keith Krach — CEO of Freedom 250 — on The Exchange, the Special Competitive Studies Project’s program, for a conversation recorded live on U.S. leadership in cyberspace. According to SCSP, the two discussed securing national infrastructure, advancing cyber statecraft, and maintaining America’s competitive edge in the digital age.

Why it matters

SCSP is the technology-competition forum where the China contest is the home subject; Cairncross’s appearance places the cyber strategy inside that frame — cyberspace leadership as one front of the wider U.S.–China technology race his office’s tech-stack work, paged elsewhere on this site, also serves.
