What happened
President Donald Trump visited a local business in Doral, Florida on March 9, 2026, during his Doral stop. The White House broadcast shows the President moving through the business, greeting its owner — whom he described as a longtime friend and one of the most successful men in Florida, in his words — and thanking the people gathered there, with a large crowd reported outside. The visit was informal and largely conversational; no formal remarks were delivered.
Why it matters
The Doral business stop is the retail-politics half of the President’s March 9 Florida day, paired with the formal press conference that followed at Doral the same day. It is recorded on the Economy, Tariffs & Trade hub.
