What happened

President Donald Trump participated in a dignified transfer ceremony at Dover, Delaware on December 17, 2025. The White House upload carries the ceremony in full — the transfer of the fallen to the waiting families — without remarks from the President.

Speaking to reporters afterward at Joint Base Andrews, in the gaggle paged separately in this collection, the President called it “a beautiful event for three great people” whose parents, wives, and families were present, and said they were devastated.

Why it matters

Dignified transfers are the most solemn duty of a commander-in-chief, and this one marks the cost carried by the three fallen service members whose return the President attended in person. This chronicle files the ceremony here on the Foreign Policy & Defense hub, noted as ceremony footage with no remarks.
