What happened

President Donald Trump received the Emir of Qatar and the Prime Minister of Qatar aboard Air Force One during a refueling stop in Qatar on October 25, 2025, as the White House broadcast records. The Emir met the President on the plane rather than waiting for the fuel-up to finish — “I said, I’m not going to allow him to take off and come and say hello to him,” he said of coming aboard.
