What happened
President Donald Trump met with Prime Minister Dick Schoof of the Netherlands in The Hague on June 25, 2025, carried on the White House channel. “I just want to thank the Netherlands. They’ve done a great job,” the President said. “This was a tremendous summit and I enjoyed it very much. I stayed through every one of those speeches — everyone — and some were good and some weren’t quite as good,” he added.
Prime Minister Schoof thanked the President in return: “I think together we made a big achievement in NATO today, agreeing on the 5 percent and making a real big step forward, and now working together on defense industry and making sure that we’ve got a deterrence on defense in the western world,” as Schoof stated the outcome. The President closed by previewing his press conference and returning to the Iran assessments, citing the Israeli Atomic Energy Commission and Iranian statements as describing, in his words, complete destruction of the facilities struck.
